Jerry ‘git ‘er done’ Allen
Dallas City Council member Jerry Allen as chair of the Economic Committee wants to make sure that the future of Dallas is secure through great avenues of cash flowing into the city. That’s why early on in the discussion of gas drilling in Dallas, Mr. Allen’s famous quote of …’git ‘er done’ will always be a reminder of just how much Jerry cares. When it comes to discussing the pros and cons of gas drilling in Dallas, Jerry has no patience and apparently feels that we can always ask questions later because getting the cash now is that important to the survival of Dallas. So when we started combing through the financial disclosures of the entire city council and mayor, we were interested in the stock revenue shares income that Jerry receives from ANADARKO ENERGY.
So, should Jerry have a hand in helping to craft the new Dallas gas ordinance when it comes to the city council in 2012? Can he be a positive influence in creating an ordinance that protects all residents and the environment of Dallas?
