Poisonous Votes
January 14, 2013
The Dallas City Council is scheduling a vote for January 23, 2013 where they would choose to remove designated park land from the Parks Department files and change the designation to Industrial Use. By changing the designation or enacting an ‘overlay’, the City of Dallas would then begin the process of approving a gas compression facility/refinery to be installed by Trinity East Energy next door to the new Elm Fork Soccer Complex, and adjacent to the Luna Vista Golf Course, and 6/10 of a mile from the North Hills Prep School.
After watching this video, if you don’t think that there is poison coming out of that compressor unit in Fort Worth, then you just don’t know……do you?

I would like to know more about how the drilling deal was likely illegal because city ordinances were violated. I think this is a very key point. Surely, as an attorney, Scott Griggs would know.
Also, since when can park land be taken as “industrial use” land?
