In your back yard, and this could happen to you!

September 24, 2010

Not too long ago, Chesapeake Gas came into this really nice Westchester neighborhood at West Camp Wisdom and Corn Valley Road in Grand Prairie. The company held a signing bonus “PAR-TAY” for potential signers. Visions of becoming “Beverly Hillbilly rich” danced in their heads. Now Chesapeake is putting the pedal to the metal in installing a rig at the neighborhood’s front door. Big pretty, pricey homes, with a big  ol’ rig and pond going in. AT THE ENTRY TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD.

This neighborhood sits about a 30 second drive from the City of Dallas city limit. What about those Dallas residents who live 90 seconds away? What about their lives, their property?

Can anyone say, property values? See what happened last week in Decatur by clicking here. Let us know what you think. The City of Dallas got their $34 MILLION bonus already.  The city council wants you to know that when they took that money in 2008, that allowed them NOT to raise your taxes. Isn’t that nice?  So now, that the city is pursuing natural gas drilling, what do you think you’ll get?

This is what Lisa Parr got, read what happened by clicking here.

That’s barbed wire atop that lovely black vinyl fence. Try selling a home backing up to this bizarre monstrosity anytime soon. And to think that this is only the beginning of the Corn Valley Pad Site nightmare. Prayers are appreciated. Thank you, Dallas.

I would “lawyer up” so fast and get the media on this it would make their heads spin.
choosing the “nice” route does not work.
