Map of destruction

April 13, 2011

So last night a light bulb went off in our head. Whenever we go to the Texas Railroad Commission web site, you can only see a small limited view of the Barnett Shale. One frame at a time. So, we thought why not fire up the printer, put in a new cartridge and start scoping and printing? This is a work in progress, but at this point it has to be assembled on the floor one square at a time. So far, we have a 6 foot tall x 2 1/2 foot wide map that shows much more than you would ever want to know about shale gas drilling in the Barnett Shale.

Stay tuned. There’s more to tell.

You’re not going to like what we found.
