IT’S THE 6 FOOT MAP OF DESTRUCTION! COME SEE IT AT DALLAS EARTH DAY!

It’s been 10 long tortuous months of asking, pleading, cajoling, embarasing and they did it, they finally did it. Dallas is going to get a shale gas drilling task force. Soon, anyone in the city of Dallas will be able to apply for a position on the task force. That’s right, anyone.

The Dallas Observer has been there from the beginning of our journey and once again, they came through with two high profile writers, Patrick Michaels and Jim Schutze. You can read what happened minute by minute by CLICKING HERE via Patrick Michaels.

We can’t wait to hear from Jim, later this week.

We thank Mayor Dwaine Caraway for his leadership and we thank the city council for taking the time to listen to staff, listen to us, and looking at the Map of Destruction. Apparently, it was the hit of the morning session. We hope the council memorizes what it shows, the continued destruction of our planet in North Texas.

Next stop: Dallas Earth Day in downtown Dallas- come see the Map of Destruction, it will be worth the trip!

There is one reason, and one reason only why this happened: Raymond Crawford.

RRC has blocked their online query system as of tonight. So that if we want to go out there and look at the maps or see anything about the well permits…they are now showing that we must be an operator. Will call the RRC in the morning to see what’s going on with that.

Congrats, Raymond. You are wonderful. And as for the RRC – we are watching your every move.

Talked to the RRC…they say everything should be “back up” by tomorrow. No explanation for why operators can log on to get access to the drilling permits, but citizens just have to wait. Asked them what was going on…the Help Desk said they did not know.

    Looking forward to Earth Day!

All was back up with the Drilling Permit Online Queries as of just after midnight this morning. Maybe the Map of Destruction caused their system to implode.
