got leukemia?

July 17, 2011

That’s right. We want to know your personal stories. We want to hear directly from those affected across the country whose health, life, and property has been affected by shale gas exploration. Have you been recently diagnosed with AML leukemia? Do you have asthma that has become worse by living in close proximity to a gas pad site? Have your pets been affected? Are your children having more nose bleeds than normal while your family lives in close proximity to a gas pad site? Is a nebulizer used as often in your home as your television?

Do you know of ‘cancer clusters’ in your neighborhood?Did you have to move out of your neighborhood because the gas emissions were affecting your family?

Are there reports of pre natal problems, immune system disorders, gland issues suspiciously coming into your life while you live in close proximity to a gas pad site? We want to know. We want to publish your stories on this blog and take them to city hall. We want others to know that while shale gas may burn cleaner, it’s the exploration process of the gas that has not been thoroughly investigated by enough agencies to allow pad sites in the middle of your neighborhood.

We’ve heard the rumors, we know some of the people who are sick . It’s time that the rest of the public, the civic leaders, and those who have the power to regulate hear from you.

You don’t have to sign your name. You don’t have to tell us your address. We do want to know what town or city in which you reside.
