Fracking waste water headed for Joe Pool Lake

January 28, 2012

We said it before, and we will say it again. The injection wells that hold the waste water from fracking operations ARE NOT SALT WATER INJECTION WELLS. Unfortunately, it seems that some of our best media outlets have been brainwashed by the gas industry. Industry has admitted to the Dallas City Council in public that ‘salt water’ is a misnomer. Even the word ‘brine’ is wrong. This is left over waste water that does have some brine elements, and a lot of chemicals that cannot be removed at water treatment plants.

This is why you hear about dead fish, dead cattle, dead trees, and sick humans. It is called ‘PRODUCED WATER’ aka ‘CONTAMINATED WATER’ and now it’s headed from Cleburne, Texas to Joe Pool Lake.

Run, don’t swim for your life.

Now this contaminated water is headed for Joe Pool Lake. Why? Watch this video to find out from Friday, January 27, 2012 at 10 pm from WFAA. We can only hope that WFAA and other media outlets can find it within themselves to use the correct terminology when describing this toxic soup that is flowing at our feet and in our lives.

Yes. If they only listen to the industry for their “research” they won’t figure out a darn thing. Since the Railroad Commission doesn’t have any new terminology for this…it just works out very nicely for industry.

I hope citizens of this country better wakes up before the greedy Oil and Gas Industry poisons and kill us all by destroying our water and air. You can live without gas but you cannot live without water.

We have no water to waste in Dallas. Joe Pool Lake is an important resource. What is the city thinking to allow this?
