A Poisonous Scorecard

Planning Commissioner Scorecard

You need to know that Trinity East Energy was not happy with this resulting in their SUP being denied. They are coming back on January 10th at 1:30. It’s important that you attend and speak your mind, bring your children, bring your passion. They want to drill next door to North Hills Prep School and the Elm Fork Soccer Complex currently being constructed. The gas industry has friends at Dallas City Hall with the Mayor, the City Manager, and other City Council members. The pressure is on, money is being promised under the table, the stakes are high.

Who took the money and will change their vote? Who’s on the side of the gas industry?

There are those who’s actions will result in poisoning the children. Do you?

We have won at every turn so far. You can help ensure that by speaking on Thursday.
      See you there?

Marilyn, as Dallas Drilling said, we have won every single battle on this issue since 2010, and we have not lost anything yet. They keep trying and we keep fighting them. As more is known about the companies and the industry momentum is swinging to our side. What we really need is far more involved citizens writing letters, sending e-mail, making phone calls and showing up in person at public hearings to let our officials know that we are watching and concerned.

They got a very visible and loud message at the CPC hearing on January 10.

One or more members of the Planning Commission had to have changed their previous vote against the SUP approvals for this re-hearing to occur. I for one want to know who he/she/they/it is and just what made them change their mind in the interim. It doesn’t pass the smell test for me.
